Post 10: Blogging experience

Hi everyone! Today someone ask me about my blogging experience. How I used it and if this tool helps me to practise my English. That’s the reason of this post.
I think that Blogger.com it might be useful for communicate something, and give the chance to your readers to make comments and have a constant feedback. In such a way that, we can use this to learn too.
When I made the posts always have some problems, either whit words or even whit complete sentences, and some classmates helps me to correct the mistakes.
I like the freedom of this tool, because we don’t have to be serious or something like that, to the contrary, we have to do this funny and interesting for the people!
I really enjoy this experience whit blog, but I have to say that I don’t have “the culture of blog” necesary, so that's why I don’t have so many comments and can't  read the post of all my classmates to write something about their post. So the problem for this tool is that you have to be in this constantly, so honestly, I don’t want be here, “on line”, forever.

Apparently this is my last post! If that’s the case, I have to say thanks for your help! I learn a lot of things!

Post 9 : Favourite Subject

Hi! Today I'm gonna write about my favourite subject, "Colonial Art". In this subject, we study about the art in latin america in the colonial period. Especially, how the occidental culture influenced in this new "style". We can understand the colonial art, first, whit the people, the artists. The half-blood people of Latin america, mixture of colonizers and native persons. That they have a different look of reality and representations. I like the colonial art so much. In Chile we have a lot of information about and unique Works from differents important artists of this style.
In this subject,  every class we see a lot of Works that define what we are reading and listen about the period. Diaries, researchs, and comments. Sometimes we go to differents museums in the city to have a real contact whit the works, and it’s so funny! Also, the teacher know a lot of this topic, so we have a lot of much oportunities in the class to learn in depth and answer any question without let down!
Now we are doing a research about a colonial work, that we have to choose from any museums of the city and I hope to do a good job.

Post 8 : Beauty

Denis Dutton in his conference called “A Darwinian theory of beauty” explains to us a definition of beauty, breaking every theory about this topic, especially the cultural answer that we made of the sense of the beauty. What is beauty? And why is that beauty? This is the principal questions of his theory. He use some Darwin theory, for support his idea.

He said that we found the things beauty not for a cultural reason, but we know what beauty is, genetically. Darwin says that the species, made a natural selection for survive during the time. So in this genetical information, and made like the same process, the human keep the information of nice things that made us feel pleasure. So Dutton attribute the taste like result of reading this information inside our minds.

I think that we can’t determinate that the beauty is just the result of a taste keep during generations. The taste, or the judgment of what is beauty or not, have a very important fact; we (like different humans) don’t think the same of the things. If for some reason exist a common beauty, also exist a alternative beauty and this last, for some people can be their only kind of beauty.

Post 7 : My favourite Artist

One of my favourites artist is Michelangelo Bounarroti, he's a Italian Renaissance painter, architect, sculptor. Considerated one of the best artist in the history. His works are still surprise everyone to see it.

Perfection is what I see when I look his works. That response to a classic view of beauty, whit simetry, harmony and balance. But, also the sentimental experience when the people saw the works. Now I think that we can have this kind of experience. Some people say that the work of arts disappear after the photography, because we can reproduce anything even the paints like Michelangelo works. But, in this case I think that they are wrong.

When you visit the Sistine Chapel you can feel some extraordinary to a sense level, when you look for example, the ceiling, the way you response is more than appreciation of the technique’s quality and you feel so small whit respect to what you are watching.

More everytime we are victims of this cold view of art, sometimes we don’t have other option to see the things whit the logical eye and we forgot the spiritual side of the things. I think that we have to return to this magic moment when you made a relation whit yourself and the work. Equally when the people go to the Sistine Chapel and stay impress, not just for the magical and divine technique, but also what the work do in ourselves.

Post 6 : A photograph. WILLIAM WEGMAN

Maybe you’ve hear talk about the american artists William Wegman he was a painter from Massachusetss Art School. First because his wonderful photos, in this we can see a lot of situations from daily to elaborated portraits, although if I tell just that, you aren’t impress much. What makes his works so beautiful and hilarious? The answer is that his photos are characterized just by his fancy and elegant WEIMARANERS. He get his first dog while teaching on California University, and called his dog by the name of “Man Ray”.

This huge gray dogs are the life of his images. Dogs dressed of countesses, kids, lords, with hats, over heels, represented happy, sad, playing or just “posing” (because dogs don’t posing). And that’s the experiment, make the people think in this like the real life, projecting different situations with dogs. So, here are the problem too, like a moral problem. We can pretend that this dogs aren’t feel anything, or just what we want to they feel. But they really want to do this? Maybe, William, the owner are abusing of his dogs, make what they want whit they, and the poor dogs are suffering while they dressed and everything that involves a photo shoot. Maybe I’m being exaggerated, but the photographer have A MILLION of photos whit his dogs. But, well, we can’t do much about it and though that I can  look and sound contradictory, we can’t deny that the photos are really beautiful.

Blog Correction

Hi People
Today ('m) going to talk about one of my favourites movies –I don`t have a single favourite movie (because) I have many– but there is an interesting and beautiful film that I saw a few days a go (ago) called "Klimt", directed by Raúl Ruiz.
Fist(first) of all, Raúl Ruiz was a Chilean flmamker(filmmaker), but he lived for a long time in France,(.) (H)he haschanged his original country in 1973 (he had to leave his country) because in september of this year (there was a military coup in Chile)was the coup d'etat in Chile. He was very famous and known filmmaker, in Chile and in Europe, he work with many famous people and also he was teacher at (the) university. He died in France in 2011,[when] he was 70 years old.

This film talk(talks) about one of the greatest Viennese artists in modernity: Gustav Klimt. The movie is a biographical film, but not chronological. The movie described his situation with women,  with his family, with the art circle, with the bohemian life and night-life with his friends, but in a subjective way, because the camera tells his physical and mental condition. At the end of his life, in 1918, Klimt was very sick and wek(weak), he captured(got) pneumonia and spanish influenza, and finaly he died of a heart attack. With such deseases(diseases), his mental condition changed and he was increasingly more weak and insane. Is (it is) just this piont(point) of view (that is) so interesting for the film and for that rason (reason) the movie shows the end of his life.

I like so much  the movie (I liked the movie so much) because the film does something exciting,(.) the film is able to reproduce the magic atmospheric (atmospheres) of Klimt (Klimt's) paintings to the image (to the screen), and such operation is a most beautiful thing a ever saw (such operation is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen). The film reproduce (reproduces) some of the artist (artist's) imagination and fantasies, the images are decorated and balanced, the images shows us his fascination for women, beauty and eroticism.

Mean Girls

Today I'm gonna talk about my favourite film. (Mean girls isn't my favourite at all but is awesome). Directed by Mark Waters and the screenplay by Tina Fey. Based on "Queen Bees and Wannabes" a book by Rosalind Wiseman, this movie talk about american high school's life. How girls fight between herself, make gossip and all that stuff. I love this movie because his screenplay and cast, whit Lindsay Lohan and Tina Fey can't better.
All begins when the new student (Lindsay Lohan caracter) leave her old life on AFRICA whit her scientist parents and arrives to America. On USA, she found a lifestyle totally diferent, specially on high school. Where being popular or loser, can define how you gonna live during the school and more.
The caracters are so defined. you can found the tipical hollaback girl: popular, rich, gorgeous and marvelous, of course, with her clan: a lot of girls that wannabe like her. And in front of this tipe of girl are the losers, that make a rol of the victims.
This film can change the look of a serious problem to funny situations, and thats what I like of that.
I guess that a lot of yours know the movie, but I can tell the final. So, I expected that you watch the movie if yo don't, and join it.
Here the trailer:

Marina Abramović

Hi, everyone. Today I'll talk about Marina Abramović. I don't really "admire" her at all, but I have to tell that I like her and her work so much. Because few days ago I watched a documentary film about her, called "The artist is present" (2010) and I love it. She is a performance artist, from Serbia, based on New York. She started her career in 1970s.
About her works, I think that all are about the limits, from her own body, to the relationship between her and the audience. I like specially how she made her own image, and how the people watch her like a "rockstar". It's so interesting, and we can see all this effect on the audience in the film, that was made during a retrospective of her work at MoMa. Now I leave one video from the performance "The artist is present" (that's why the name of film). In this performance, Marina was sit immobile for 736 hours and 30 minutes.

James Blake

I have to tell everybody that I don't have a favourite singer or music group of all time, I just can be "obsessed" with someone, but thats change every time. Well, in this time I really like James Blake. He is a singer from London, for some people is considerated a post-dubstep artist, I don't know if that is really his style. His songs are a mix of  his own electronic productions and voice, in them we can hear the influences of his music: soul and of course, dubstep. And thats what I love from this singer, the versality of the final result.
I think that "Retrograde" is one of his best songs and my favourite because have attractive and different intensities.
