Post 10: Blogging experience

Hi everyone! Today someone ask me about my blogging experience. How I used it and if this tool helps me to practise my English. That’s the reason of this post.
I think that Blogger.com it might be useful for communicate something, and give the chance to your readers to make comments and have a constant feedback. In such a way that, we can use this to learn too.
When I made the posts always have some problems, either whit words or even whit complete sentences, and some classmates helps me to correct the mistakes.
I like the freedom of this tool, because we don’t have to be serious or something like that, to the contrary, we have to do this funny and interesting for the people!
I really enjoy this experience whit blog, but I have to say that I don’t have “the culture of blog” necesary, so that's why I don’t have so many comments and can't  read the post of all my classmates to write something about their post. So the problem for this tool is that you have to be in this constantly, so honestly, I don’t want be here, “on line”, forever.

Apparently this is my last post! If that’s the case, I have to say thanks for your help! I learn a lot of things!

Post 9 : Favourite Subject

Hi! Today I'm gonna write about my favourite subject, "Colonial Art". In this subject, we study about the art in latin america in the colonial period. Especially, how the occidental culture influenced in this new "style". We can understand the colonial art, first, whit the people, the artists. The half-blood people of Latin america, mixture of colonizers and native persons. That they have a different look of reality and representations. I like the colonial art so much. In Chile we have a lot of information about and unique Works from differents important artists of this style.
In this subject,  every class we see a lot of Works that define what we are reading and listen about the period. Diaries, researchs, and comments. Sometimes we go to differents museums in the city to have a real contact whit the works, and it’s so funny! Also, the teacher know a lot of this topic, so we have a lot of much oportunities in the class to learn in depth and answer any question without let down!
Now we are doing a research about a colonial work, that we have to choose from any museums of the city and I hope to do a good job.

Post 8 : Beauty

Denis Dutton in his conference called “A Darwinian theory of beauty” explains to us a definition of beauty, breaking every theory about this topic, especially the cultural answer that we made of the sense of the beauty. What is beauty? And why is that beauty? This is the principal questions of his theory. He use some Darwin theory, for support his idea.

He said that we found the things beauty not for a cultural reason, but we know what beauty is, genetically. Darwin says that the species, made a natural selection for survive during the time. So in this genetical information, and made like the same process, the human keep the information of nice things that made us feel pleasure. So Dutton attribute the taste like result of reading this information inside our minds.

I think that we can’t determinate that the beauty is just the result of a taste keep during generations. The taste, or the judgment of what is beauty or not, have a very important fact; we (like different humans) don’t think the same of the things. If for some reason exist a common beauty, also exist a alternative beauty and this last, for some people can be their only kind of beauty.

Post 7 : My favourite Artist

One of my favourites artist is Michelangelo Bounarroti, he's a Italian Renaissance painter, architect, sculptor. Considerated one of the best artist in the history. His works are still surprise everyone to see it.

Perfection is what I see when I look his works. That response to a classic view of beauty, whit simetry, harmony and balance. But, also the sentimental experience when the people saw the works. Now I think that we can have this kind of experience. Some people say that the work of arts disappear after the photography, because we can reproduce anything even the paints like Michelangelo works. But, in this case I think that they are wrong.

When you visit the Sistine Chapel you can feel some extraordinary to a sense level, when you look for example, the ceiling, the way you response is more than appreciation of the technique’s quality and you feel so small whit respect to what you are watching.

More everytime we are victims of this cold view of art, sometimes we don’t have other option to see the things whit the logical eye and we forgot the spiritual side of the things. I think that we have to return to this magic moment when you made a relation whit yourself and the work. Equally when the people go to the Sistine Chapel and stay impress, not just for the magical and divine technique, but also what the work do in ourselves.
